The Voices of APEC conference 2007 has left me with a lasting impression of what a group of 50 talented and enthusiastic individuals can achieve. We came together from all corners of Aotearoa to form a common voice to lead NZ into the future. The relationships we formed closely linked in with the emerging themes during the conference, of developing lasting and quality relationships with our neighbouring economies in the APEC (Asia-Pacific) region. The vast number of different perspectives was particulary inspiring in opening our minds to one anothers points of view. Hearing from our top business and political leaders inspired me to set my aims high. The conference developed my mode of thinking, in regard to New Zealands' business opportunities in the future, from an inward view to an international view. This I feel will direct my future studies towards courses relevant to international business and realtions. I was pleased with the professional nature of the event, the manner in which it was organised and run. I would like to thank Scots College for their brilliant hospitality, and the organisers for their commitment to us, the students.
