Voices-APEC is the perfect opportunity to share what I like about my country and show it to the world, as well as sharing all the possibilities that can be found in here. Finally, meeting important figures will change the perspective we sometimes have about what is going on in the world, and the experience they have to share with us is valuable and transcendental.

Most of the time I like networking, keeping in touch with old and new friends. I also like going to the gym and playing tennis. Music is also a hobby I have, I enjoy listening to different vibes J, but what I like the most is Classic Rock, some Classical Music and Electronic Music. Finally I spend time with my family, because I get to share what happened in during the week with them and just have a good time.

Eduardo Augusto Iberico Julca

Major: Software and Systems Engineering
Email: lalo.iberico@hotmail.com

WHO AM I?
Hi everyone! I’m Eduardo and I am one of the members of the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola group. I am proud of being Peruvian and of belonging to a huge national society where the only objective is to achieve higher accomplishments each day. About myself, I can tell that life has been very generous with me due to the fact that I’ve had the opportunity to travel to some cities in the US, Chile and Mexico. I have had a lot of fun sharing those experiences with my friends and family. What I love most is snowboarding, hanging out with my friends, seeing good movies and always finding the positive approach of everything that I do. Now, I am working in a Canadian firm as a practitioner in the IT field and I plan to retake my French studies, obtain a masters in Software Project Management so I can become an integral engineer who can reward something to that country named Peru that gave me everything.

MY EXPECTIONS ABOUT VOICES – APEC
If there is something I have enjoyed learning in all my trips is that people from other parts of the world have different points of view. I am not saying that “different” means a negative issue. I firmly think that if those differences could get together and work together, they would probably be a common solution to a common problem that affects societies. That’s why, what I expect from Voices – APEC is to not only to meet new friends from other cultures, which is really amazing, but also to understand how students like me think about common social, economic and political problems and which strategies we might believe that could be the possible answers. I think that the world can definitely change if we create innovative actions that can make that happen.
